Ronen Biliya is a photographer based in Tel Aviv. His work focuses on movement, release, and the moments when people let go completely.
Through festivals, streets, deserts, and intimate human moments, he captures what happens just beyond control, when emotion becomes movement and a brief moment turns into something unforgettable.
Drawn to natural light, motion, and raw presence, his photographs move between chaos and stillness, documenting the brief moments where people become fully themselves.
The Space Between
Every photograph is a moment that will never exist again.
I search for the space between control and release, where movement, emotion, and light meet for a brief second before disappearing.
Release / שחרור
The concept of release runs through everything I shoot. The idea of a true moment, not staged, not changed. A real, true moment. Moments that we will never find again. When the subject releases all of his raw emotions and creates a movement that I feel.

"אני מצלם את הרגע שבו הזמן עומד מלכת, כשאנחנו משחררים."
רונן ביליה הוא צלם ישראלי הפועל בצומת שבין תנועה, אור ורגש אנושי גולמי. הוא יוצר למעלה מעשור בתיעוד רגעים שמעבר לגבול השליטה.
עבודתו נעה בין ישראל לעולם, מפסטיבלים בספרד ואירועים בנגב ועד לתנועות מחאה ופורטרטים. בין אם מדובר בזריחת מידברן או בהפגנה ברחובות תל אביב, רונן מביא את אותה גישה: אמונה שהרגעים הכנים ביותר אינם ניתנים לבימוי.
החלל שבין
כל תמונה שאני מצלם היא רגע שלא תמצא שוב. טיפה אחת של מים בים. היא חיה בחיבור בין הנושא לעדשה.
אני מחפש את החלל שבין שליטה לנטישה. משהו אמיתי, משהו אותנטי.
אני נמשך לאור הזהוב, לרגע שבו השמש שוקעת ועוד רגע חולף. מנסה למצוא את הפריים האחד שמחזיק את הרגש של הכל.
שחרור / Release
הרעיון של שחרור עובר דרך כל מה שאני מצלם. הרעיון של רגע אמיתי, לא מבוים, לא שונה. רגע אמיתי. רגעים שלא נמצא שוב. כאשר הנושא משחרר את כל רגשותיו הגולמיים ויוצר תנועה שאני מרגיש.
